In November some students from Grades 6-8 competed in the 2A UIL Theater One Act Play Competition. They presented “The Trysting Place” by Booth Tarkington. It is a fun one act comedy that the students executed extremely well. At the end of the competition Aditya Premnath (6th Grade) and Reet Bafna (6th Grade) took home All Star Cast awards for their individual performances. Impana Mahajan (6th Grade) took home an Honorable Mention Cast award, Varsha Kumanan (8th Grade) took home the Best Stage Manager award, and UA placed 3rd all around. The stage manager of the space was so impressed with our students talent and professionalism that she told us we were a “pleasure” to have in her space. It is always a badge of achievement when a stage manager takes the time to come and compliment a student group. Our Eagles flew high!
