We’d like to invite all students and parents to show extra gratitude to teachers and school staff during Teacher Appreciation Week. Participation is optional. Our goal is to make our teachers feel extra special during this week!
Monday May 3rd – Snacks & Treats
Teachers will receive parent donated snacks!
Parents, please donate individually wrapped, store bought snacks to the front office beginning Monday April 26th, 2021. The school will prepare them to deliver to teachers. Even if your student is a remote learner, feel free to participate!
Tuesday May 4th – Gratitude Letter
Parents, send an email or letter to your child’s teacher expressing your gratitude and support for all they’ve done this year. Wear a plain red T-shirt with uniform bottoms on National Teacher Day.
Wednesday May 5th – Brighten your Teacher’s Day
Make your teacher’s day bright by sending them a hand drawn picture.
Thursday May 6th – Record your Appreciation
Record a video of your child saying, “Thank you!” to their teacher. Email the video to the teacher.
Friday May 7th – Teacher Card
Students are asked to express their creativity and gratitude by making a special card for their teacher. Students may email or bring their finished card or gift card to their teacher on Friday, May 8thth.
